SuzFoods is the Real Thing
I’ve noticed that there are a number of ‘personal recipe’ web sites floating around. I always like to check these out to find new ideas or menu suggestions that I can work with or pass on. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that many (if not most) of these sites are nothing more than a collector site for links to various other commercial food or product providers or to generic web ads for unrelated products. On those sites that have actual recipes, there’s nothing to indicate the source or authenticity of the recipe. When the site is also pushing a ‘free’ cookbook, I get particularly suspicious of the origins. This is very disappointing and I find a complete waste of my time. I’m sure many of you feel the same way when you visit them as well!
SuzFoods is not a commercial site and we have no third-party products to promote or materials to market. The recipes are all ‘tried ‘n true’, coming from personal cooking experiences of the contributors. These recipes work, and are provided here because they are personal and family favourites that we would like to share with others. Any links on this site are provided for your interest and convenience, but not to promote someone else’s product or service that you don’t need. We don’t have a cookbook, but each recipe has a PDF file that you can print and save for your personal use – which we encourage!
You are welcome to participate in this site to find new recipes to try, by sharing the link with your family and friends, and – we hope – by contributing back to the site with your own favourite menu items. Enjoy the recipes here and feel free to experiment yourself and share the results with us! Most importantly, don’t confuse SuzFoods with some of those other ‘personal recipe’ sites – we really are the ‘real thing’!
Happy Cooking!
